March 1, 2025

In 2024, Promly’s founder Jen Libby was invited to joinElected Officials to Protect America (EOPA), a non-partisan organization ofpublic leaders working to advance environmental protections, public health, andsustainability through policy change. Though not an elected official herself,Libby’s inclusion as a mental health policy advocate speaks to Promly’sexpanding role in shaping conversations at the intersection of youth wellnessand national policy. EOPA is known for uniting leaders across all 50 states totake strong, collective stances on climate action, public health, andenvironmental justice. With growing national concern over mentalhealth—especially among Gen Z—Libby’s participation signals a powerful shift:the growing recognition that mental health is inextricably linked to broadersocial and environmental challenges.

Promly’s focus on early intervention, technology-enabledsupport, and youth-driven design has earned it recognition not only in themental health space but also in discussions about public health infrastructureand policy reform. Libby’s advocacy work through EOPA reflects this largermission, aligning Promly with national efforts to drive systemic change andprotect future generations from overlapping crises. While the organization’sroster primarily includes elected officials, EOPA also partners with communityleaders and innovators who contribute to public policy through research, advocacy, and on-the-ground impact. Libby’s invitation further underscores thereach of Promly’s mission and its founder’s influence as both a clinician andentrepreneur.
