Promly, the pioneering platform empowering youth to connect, collaborate, and create positive change, embarked on a transformative journey to the nation's capital this June. This exceptional opportunity allowed Promly to pave the way to amplify youth voices on critical issues, showcase their innovative platform, and advocate for greater youth engagement in policy.

Prior to this visit, Promly was the first group to be instrumental in successfully advocating for “youth representation” to be included in Senator Blackburn’s and Senator Blumenthal’s bipartisan efforts to foster a safer environment for kids online with KOSA (The Kids Online Safety Act). Promly also pushed the FTC to build youth representation in their data privacy recommendations as Promly knows how critical it is to work directly with young people to drive better youth policy outcomes.

Promly's mission to foster a generation of purpose-driven leaders that will work collaboratively has captured the attention of lawmakers and influencers alike. Recognized for their innovative approach to empowering young individuals, Promly was invited to engage with Congressional representatives and their teams to discuss ways to support and amplify youth-led initiatives and policy related projects.

The itinerary for Promly's visit to Washington, D.C., included meetings with members of Congress from both sides of the aisle, representing diverse districts and constituencies. These meetings explored the challenges and opportunities young people face in making a difference and creating a positive impact in their communities and with technology.

"We are excited and honored to be given this opportunity to meet with Congressional teams and share Promly's vision for a more connected and empowered youth community engaging with innovative startup leaders and policy makers," said Christian Elam, Promly board member and founder of Bachmanity Capital. "Our platform is designed to bridge the gap between young changemakers and the resources they need to make a difference. We believe that by collaborating with policymakers, we can unlock even greater potential for positive social change."

The series of meetings allowed Promly to gain valuable insights from Congressional representatives, enabling them to better understand the legislative landscape and explore potential partnerships that can enhance youth engagement and social impact initiatives.

Promly's dedication to nurturing a vibrant community of young leaders and social entrepreneurs aligns closely with the objectives of the Congressional teams they are meeting. By fostering meaningful dialogue, Promly aims to contribute to the development of policies that involve and empower youth, create opportunities for collaborative insight, and drive positive change at both local and national levels.

About Promly: Promly is a groundbreaking platform that equips young individuals with the tools they need to connect, collaborate, and create positive change.
