On this podcast episode, Promly Founder Jen Libby and Senior Intern Zach Seiger speak with Elise Schuster, Executive Director of Okayso. Okayso is a non profit organization that aims to increase the access people have to support and information when they need it the most. Okayso gives people a platform to ask the hard questions, about sexuality, dating, identity, relationships and more. With a team of experts at the waiting that range from health educators to researchers to sex workers  to teachers, users are able to hear from multiple perspectives and get the support they need. Okayso is changing the game by replacing google, porn and other sites that spread stigmatized misinformation to all members of Gen Z, especially the LGTBQ+ community.

Wondering how it works? First, you ask your question to a team of experts based on the nature of your question. Fun fact: They have answered over 11,000 questions across the US so far! Second, one of the about 35 experts respond timely and sometimes you will even hear back from multiple experts answering your question. In this space you are able to have a conversation with these experts and ask more questions or just chat. Third, depending again on the nature of your question experts may choose to follow up with you and offer you even more support! How neat!
